Quality Care Manager

We are seeking a confident and experienced leader who excels in managing complex issues and complaints, driving staff performance, and overseeing clinical audits to ensure the highest standards of care.

About the Role:
  • Ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and policy and procedures
  • Providing leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure the delivery of quality resident outcomes
  • Working in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards

To be successful in this role you will need

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role with demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues and experience working with Dementia Residents
  • Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team managing complex complaints
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
