Leadership Opportunity:

We seek a strategic leader to oversee our university residences, overseeing staff and key student leaders, appointing senior residents, promoting community life and welfare, contributing to the university ministry team, and attracting new residents.

The role is 4 days/week, supported by a 2 day/week Assistant Director and administration staff.

About Our Community:

Our inner-city Anglican church is situated near several universities, offering a unique opportunity for discipleship and spiritual growth.

As an evangelical and Reformed church, we uphold the Book of Common Prayer and aim to make and form Christ-like disciples who glorify and enjoy God in all aspects of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff oversight and appointment
  • Senior resident support and development
  • Promoting healthy community life and resident welfare
  • Contributing to university ministry initiatives
  • Resident attraction and selection

Requirements:

Applicants must possess strong Christian character, demonstrating prayerfulness, grace, and a love for Christ and the church.

They must hold settled evangelical convictions and be eligible for licensing or authorization by the Archbishop of Sydney.

A high level of relational skill, hospitality, conflict management, and leadership by example are essential for this role.
