Job Description

The Education and Clinical Support Manager plays a pivotal role in the Quality, Safety and Innovation team at Royal Freemasons Ltd. This key leadership position is responsible for delivering high-quality education and training programs to staff, promoting skill and capability with a focus on consumer-centred care.

About the Role
  • This role will be instrumental in ensuring that all clinical staff have access to relevant education and training, enabling them to provide high-quality care that meets the needs of our residents.
  • The successful candidate will promote resident-centred care and evidence-based best practice, supporting the organisation's strategic plans to sustainably grow and enhance our clinical workforce.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing Education Resources: Create and review education resources to support key initiatives aligning with the new Aged Care Quality Standards.
  2. Clinical Guidance and Education: Deliver education and clinical guidance to all relevant staff to enable the development of evidence-based knowledge and performance skills.
  3. Accreditation Preparedness: Collaborate with the Quality Team to ensure all documentation and processes meet compliance requirements.
  4. Maintaining Programs and Learning Resources: Ensure programs and learning resources are current, regularly reviewed, and maintained in partnership with subject matter experts.
Requirements
  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE40110) or willingness to complete same.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including the new Aged Care Act 2025, Governing for Reform in Aged Care, and the Support at Home program.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, along with demonstrated experience in working with both management and staff on staff educational and development requirements.
