Senior Building Fire Safety Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Fire Safety Compliance Assessor to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our Property Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our clients' properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough fire safety assessments and audits to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Develop and implement effective fire safety strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their fire safety needs and provide expert advice on fire safety best practices.
- Manage and deliver projects to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
- Communicate complex technical information to stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and external partners.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in fire safety auditing and compliance, with a strong understanding of AS1851, the BCA, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, project management, and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering and/or fire technology, plus previous experience in a consulting role.
