As a Fire Safety Engineer you will contribute to and assist on projects Australia-wide, assisting and developing fire safety engineering design solutions across buildings, defence, and transport infrastructure projects under the support and guidance of senior management and engineers.

Key Technical Expectations:

  • Degree in fire safety engineering or relevant science- or engineering discipline.
  • Working knowledge of the BCA and fire safety engineering processes in Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and manage design work and engineering tasks
  • Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Ability to prepare and verify design calculations in fire engineering and modelling.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
