Arup is a global leader in fire engineering, and we're seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Senior Fire Safety Engineer. As a key member of our fire engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering technically excellent fire safety outcomes for our clients.

About the Role

  • Lead fire engineering projects, providing detailed technical input and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and integrated designs.
  • Prepare and review project reports for clients, summarizing key issues and advising on best outcomes.
  • Represent Arup at internal and external meetings, including leading approvals negotiations and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Liaise with other disciplines within the region, providing expertise on fire engineering as needed.

Requirements

  • Recognized tertiary qualifications in Engineering, specializing in Fire Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements and regulations governing Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
  • Chartered and Registered with relevant engineering authority body.
  • Relevant industry experience in Fire Engineering within a consulting business environment.
  • Prior experience in laboratories, data centers, infrastructure, warehouses, and other relevant sectors.
