Support workers play a vital role in assisting individuals who require support, enabling them to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing basic tasks such as household chores: meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and gardening
  • Maintaining home and yard upkeep
  • Providing social support and transportation: transporting clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and activities outside the home that do not require specialized support

No specific qualifications are required for this position.

However, we do require:

  • A valid working with children check (when applicable)
  • A current National Police Check Clearance
  • The ability to pass background screening
  • Valid working rights
  • An Open Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Ownership of a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle (desired)
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of the role
  • A smartphone with internet access
  • Knowledge of a language apart from English will be an asset but is not mandatory for the role
