Financial Management Specialist

The APS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Analyst to join our team in Canberra, Adelaide, Nowra, and Darwin. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic financial advice to clients and assist in the identification of financial risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial management support and assist with budget preparation and financial performance monitoring and reporting.
- Understand and provide advice on Defence and government financial management matters.
- Apply financial management knowledge and undertake objective and systematic analysis to draw accurate conclusions based on evidence.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and stakeholders, and actively participate in teamwork and group activities.
Our team provides finance support to the Navy Head Quarter and partnered Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group. We are committed to delivering high-quality financial management services to our clients and are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team.
Requirements- Strong interpersonal skills to service a variety of customers of varying financial literacy.
- Enthusiastic and determined to achieve meaningful results within a team-based environment.
- Ability to operate and produce high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
