Director of Child Development

You will be supported by our experienced approved provider, who will actively contribute to marketing efforts and other initiatives. This is an autonomous position where you will have the freedom to build the culture, processes, and rhythms that work best for our organisation from the outset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Building: Hire, train, and develop staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Enrolments: Manage tours, enrolments, and build relationships with new families.
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Australian standards and regulations.
  • Engagement: Engage with children and families to create a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere.
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance, promoting best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECT) is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Childcare Centre Manager or highly skilled Second-in-Command in Australia is required.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Australian standards and regulations, including approved child protection training.
  • Personality: An upbeat, friendly, warm, and energetic personality with a passion for early childhood education.
