
Regional Child Development Leader

We are seeking an exceptional leader to champion quality and safety standards across a portfolio of five early childhood centres in South Australia.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Quality Champion: Lead robust protection systems, mandatory reporting protocols, and a safety-first culture across all five centres.
- Excellence Driver: Ensure consistent implementation of National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework, with our sector-leading educational program.
- Leader Developer: Mentor Centre Directors through coaching, weekly connection meetings, and professional development focused on quality practice and child safety.
- Compliance Specialist: Monitor regulatory frameworks, lead incident management, and collaborate with the Safety & Risk team on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Growth Enabler: Develop innovative approaches that enhance educational outcomes while maintaining sustainable, high-quality operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience in early childhood education, multi-site leadership, and a strong understanding of child development and safety principles. Your background should include:
- Early Childhood Expertise: Extensive experience in early childhood education sector with deep understanding of child development and safety principles.
- Multi-Site Leadership: Proven track record as a Nominated Supervisor, Centre Director, or managing Centre Directors across multiple centres.
- Quality Focus: Demonstrated experience turning around challenged centres with emphasis on quality improvement and safety enhancement.
- Child Protection Knowledge: Strong understanding of mandatory reporting obligations, child safety frameworks, and incident management.
- Regulatory Excellence: Comprehensive experience with Assessment & Rating processes and National Quality Standards implementation.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood or relevant field.
- Certifications: Working with Children Clearance and valid driver's licence.
