Helping others achieve their career and financial goals is a rewarding experience. As an Employment Coach, you'll play a vital role in supporting people of all backgrounds to obtain suitable employment or education opportunities.

This role involves working with diverse customers to overcome personal and professional challenges, delivering coaching to improve employability skills, confidence, and career planning, finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf, referring customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health, and financial counselling, providing additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment.

About the Role
  • Support customers in overcoming personal and professional barriers to employment.
  • Deliver coaching sessions to improve employability skills and confidence.
  • Find suitable employment opportunities for customers and provide advocacy services.
  • Refer customers to relevant support services, including housing, mental health, and financial counselling.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and support to customers during their initial six months of employment.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being self-motivated, inclusive, and open-minded.

You will be supported by a team of coaches, mentors, and counsellors, and provided with comprehensive training, including a Certificate IV in Employment Services within the first 12 months on the job.
