We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as a mentor. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life on a permanent full-time basis.

You will be working with diverse individuals and employer networks to achieve outcomes through coaching and support programs. Your goal will be to partner with job seekers to plan, secure, and maintain sustainable employment.

Your experience in sales, administration, retail, call centers, or customer service will be highly advantageous for this role. As a mentor, you will source and develop enduring employer relationships that generate employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct customer assessments and create action plans
  • Facilitate group learning activities and provide skill-based training sessions
  • Support job seekers to achieve their goals and promote them to local employers
  • Maintain thorough case notes and administer client services effectively

Essential Criteria:
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness to deliver training sessions
  • Ability to support job seekers to achieve their goals
  • Excellent administration skills and ability to maintain thorough case notes
  • Local knowledge of the labour market and experience in placing clients into local employment opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills in promoting job seekers to local employers
  • Satisfactory background checks, including NDIS Workers Check and Working With Children Check
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance and Motor Vehicle Registration
  • Knowledge of and commitment to child safe standards and mandatory reporting requirements
  • Experience working in the disability service sector (highly regarded)
  • Current driver's licence (minimum P2)
