Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care assistance with showering, dressing, grooming and medication management
  • Assisting with light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Supporting customers with social activities, shopping and transportation to medical appointments
  • Monitoring customer well-being and reporting on progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions as required
  • Providing overnight support and assistance to customers as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card
  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance)
  • Smartphone with internet access
