Job Title: Support Assistant

The primary objective of this role is to provide assistance and support to clients in various aspects of their daily lives.

  • Assist with household chores and grocery shopping
  • Support clients with medication and medical appointments
  • Facilitate social inclusion and community access

  • Help develop independent living skills
  • Implement behaviour management strategies
  • Provide personal care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform household chores and assist with grocery shopping
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and administer medication as required
  • Arrange social activities and outings for clients
  • Plan and implement fitness and wellbeing programs
  • Teach and assist with developing independent living skills
  • Implement and maintain behaviour management strategies
  • Provide personal care services
Requirements:
  • Current Blue Card for Working with Children or eligibility to apply
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance or eligibility to apply
  • Driver's licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Completion of NDIS E-Learning modules
  • Access to a smartphone with internet connection
