Wellbeing Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Wellbeing Support Worker. This role will involve working with residents to create a positive and engaging living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate activities and programs that promote social interaction and a sense of community among residents.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, particularly those with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes and outings.
  • Gather feedback from residents and their families to ensure activities meet their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the care team to plan and deliver activities and programs.

Requirements:

  • A strong passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting individuals to live their best lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in aged care or a related field is highly desirable.
