Research Opportunities

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to contribute to our First Nations Social and Emotional Wellbeing research program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strengths-based research initiatives that improve SEWB outcomes for First Nations individuals, families, and communities.
  • Investigate factors influencing SEWB and develop culturally supportive strategies and interventions.
  • Collaborate with First Nations communities and stakeholders to co-create knowledge and solutions; supervise and mentor junior researchers; manage complex projects and timelines.

Requirements

  1. Identification as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
  2. A PhD in a related discipline (e.g., psychology, public health, Indigenous studies) and/or relevant work experience.
  3. Demonstrated experience in conducting research on First Nations SEWB, with a track record of high-quality, culturally relevant research.
