**Job Title:** Project Coordinator
**Role Overview**The newly established First Nations Health team of 5 people is undertaking a review of cultural safety standards in hospitals to inform improvements to the delivery of healthcare for First Nations people.
This role is part of the team and focuses on project management activities, including input into project planning and documentation; monitoring and reporting on progress of projects; and identifying issues and proposing possible solutions.
**Responsibilities**- Undertake supportive project management activities such as input into project planning and documentation, monitoring and reporting on progress, and identifying issues and proposing solutions.
- Support procurement and contract management activities including financial administration and budget preparation, invoicing and monitoring.
- Draft, edit and collate meeting and workshop papers, submissions, correspondence, discussion papers and briefing notes, and provide secretariat support for meetings, including preparation of agenda papers, meeting notes, logistics and other administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with members of the First Nations Health team and other teams to support delivery of projects.
- Research, review and analyse data, reports, published material and expert opinion to provide information and advice to support the development of projects and initiatives.
- Must be an Australian Citizen and have First Nations Heritage.
- Demonstrated strong written communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to produce quality documents for a range of audiences.
- Effective and well-developed interpersonal skills including ability to present, negotiate, influence and consult.
- Well-developed research, strategic analysis and interpretation skills.
- Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills.
- Sound judgement in identification of issues and appropriate solutions and ensure timely response to issues identified.
- Understanding of government processes.
- Knowledge of Australian healthcare system and understanding of issues regarding safety and quality in healthcare, including those related to First Nations peoples and their communities.
**Key Benefits**
12 month Contract. Full-time or Part-time (0.8), Sydney CBD, Hybrid options. $98,000 to $110,000 plus super.
