Job Summary:
- Proactively identify, target and engage wholesale investors, high net worth individuals and family offices through strategic networking, referrals, events and other lead-generation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and develop relationships with key clients to meet business objectives.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Product Promotion: Effectively communicate the value proposition of investment products to prospective clients.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes to identify opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve sales targets.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to Australian financial regulations including ASIC guidelines and relevant licensing requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development and client feedback.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Business Development role.
- Strong understanding of market research principles and practices.
- Experience in sales roles and ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Knowledge of Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
