Business Development Manager

The role of a Business Development Manager is to drive revenue growth and market share through strategic partnerships and tourism channels.

  • Develop and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and partner incentives to increase visitor numbers and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with trade partners, tour operators, wholesalers, and corporate clients domestically and internationally.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth and market share.
Key Responsibilities:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Meeting annual sales targets across all domestic trade and tourism channels.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Managing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships through regular engagement and strategic collaboration.
  • Representing the company at trade shows, industry events, and meetings with tourism bodies locally and internationally.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in a similar position, ideally in attractions or tourism.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Results-oriented with strong strategic, tactical, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with general computer literacy.
