**Everyday Independence: Empowering Lives through Inclusive Practices**
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Empowerment Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team in North Western Melbourne.
About the Role:
- This is an ongoing, full-time or part-time position (minimum 4 days per week) that offers a competitive salary of $83,582 - $100,342 per annum, inclusive of annual leave loading and superannuation.
- The successful candidate will work closely with participants and their support networks to empower individuals with disabilities, promoting inclusivity and accessibility in their daily lives.
- As an Empowerment Specialist, you will leverage evidence-based practices and collaborate with our team to deliver tailored support plans that foster independence, self-advocacy, and community engagement.
- You will possess a Bachelor or Masters in Disability (or equivalent) and be eligible for DEAI membership. A Behaviour Support Practitioner certification from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission may also be required.

- Develop and implement personalized support plans, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and key stakeholders.

- Attend regular peer group supervision and professional learning opportunities to enhance your expertise and contribute to the growth of our team.
