We are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the IT needs of our clients.
The estimated salary for this position is around $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis is a contract or temporary position with our client, an asset owner and highly reputable employer.
The Senior Infrastructure IT Specialist will work as part of a small information service team to manage and support the IT needs and issues of our clients.
- Provide business as usual (BAU) IT support including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
- Deskside support to Partners.
- Provide Audio-Visual support to Partners.
- Perform Capacity Management and Asset Management.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, good project management skills, and excellent communication skills.
A bachelor's degree or its equivalent qualifications, along with a minimum 3-5 years of technical experience, is required for this position.
Candidates with knowledge of networks, database or operating systems, PC/LAN/WAN, Citrix/VDI, telecommunications technologies, and information security technology will be preferred.
Experience with Office 365, Outlook, Lotus Notes and SharePoint is also essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Infrastructure IT Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Provide BAU IT support, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Support migration activities, testing, and migration IT requirements.
- Work with Global core IT teams on projects and build-outs.
- Lead projects as needed.
- Enable and promote tech-savvy partners through end-user empowerment.
- Maintain daily linkage with key business partners to remain informed about day-to-day operations issues and status.
- Manage data centre, network, and server management, including physical support to Global Network and Server Support Teams.
- Provide systems/network infrastructure support, network security management, network/systems performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Assist Manager to plan, maintain, and execute all backup/recovery strategies for critical systems.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of networks, database or operating systems, PC/LAN/WAN, Citrix/VDI, telecommunications technologies, and information security technology.
- Experience with Office 365, Outlook, Lotus Notes and SharePoint.
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent qualifications – minimum.
- Minimum 3-5 years of technical experience in operating systems, database, telecommunications, PC, LAN, WAN, and data security technologies.
- ITIL, MCSE, MCSA, and CCNA certification highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of Service Now System tool highly desirable.
