Senior MuleSoft Technical Architect

Job Description:

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join its team and help propel government customers' digital transformation journeys with human-centered design thinking and consultation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evolving and shaping the strategy, architecture, platform, and standards for the Integration team. They will provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for the integration domain, lead & mentor the integration team through complex, multi-phased delivery projects, and specify and publish standards around APIs and Integrations.

Key responsibilities include transforming business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications, partnering with other functions across IT & business to ensure collaboration, consistency, and quality of solutions, designing reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects, ensuring self and development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards, and providing mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years working in the MuleSoft and Confluent ecosystem as an Integration Architect, experience in transforming complex strategic business requirements into workable solutions, Bachelor's degree level or higher, MuleSoft, Confluent and relevant certifications, strong communication and collaboration skills, leadership, experience with enterprise integration patterns, deep knowledge of microservices architecture and API strategy development, experience with the entire API development lifecycle from design & build to governance & management, experience with event brokers platforms like Kafka and Solace, experience integrating with SaaS solutions like Splunk and Azure, experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols such as XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBC, experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts, and build pipelines using Azure DevOps, experience with Domain driven design and data modelling.
