Job Title: Building Maintenance Specialist

Are you a skilled handy person looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced maintenance specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining building maintenance and general accommodation services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting room preparation and minor relocations as needed
  • Determining work requirements and allocating duties appropriately
  • Continuously monitoring service requests through the Corrigo system
  • Receiving goods into the department and ensuring their proper delivery to relevant areas
  • Managing the Facilities and Accommodation Unit store areas
  • Maintaining effective liaison, communication, and consultation with key stakeholders

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role
  • Trade certification or license in a relevant field (highly regarded)
  • Experience using hand or power equipment
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making skills, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Australian Citizenship and NV1 Australian Security Clearance
