Job Opportunity

The Facilities Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing a range of services and contracts, including Security, Cleaning, Pest Control, Gardening, and Canteen. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract management, service levels, maintenance schedules, reactive maintenance, contractor performance, and security systems.

This is a 1-year fixed term, full-time contract with an opportunity to evolve into a permanent position. The successful candidate will lead, coordinate contractors, and drive service quality and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee security services, including access control, CCTV, alarms, key systems, incident support, and investigations
  • Manage service contracts, ensuring high standards are met and maintained
  • Drive contractor performance and continuous improvement in cost, compliance, and service
  • Coordinate small facility projects and contractor schedules
  • Maintain site appearance and uphold physical security standards
  • Support asset management, space planning, document storage, and secure disposals
  • Contribute to internal audits, self-insurance, compliance initiatives, and legal standards
Requirements:
  • Site security experience with exposure to security systems (access, CCTV, alarms)
  • Contractor management, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project coordination
  • Attention to detail with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Horticulture, waste/scrap management, canteen operations knowledge or experience highly regarded
