
Senior Mechanical Project Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and project management.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading full lifecycle engineering projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
- Managing project budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication
- Producing and reviewing mechanical designs, CAD models, and technical documentation
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and OEM partners
- Supporting prototype builds, testing, and design validation
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship within the engineering team
- Ensuring projects comply with relevant industry standards like Australian Design Rules (ADRs), OEM guidelines and requirements, as well as safety standards.
Requirements:
• Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and to spec.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to confidently lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.
• Relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related discipline).
• Extensive experience in automotive, heavy vehicle, or industrial equipment manufacturing, including strong skills in design, integration, and validation.
• Passion for innovative design, with a deep understanding of manufacturability, serviceability, and cost efficiency.
