About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team at NBN Co. As a key member of our Data, AI, and Data Warehouse domains, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing governance and data modelling standards.

This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise data warehouse architecture, with expertise in data governance and modelling. You will collaborate closely with the Architecture team to provide feedback on architectural solutions and ensure alignment with data warehouse architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance governance and data modelling standards within the Data, AI, and Data Warehouse domains.
  • Collaborate with the Architecture team to provide feedback on architectural solutions.
  • Partner with multiple DevSecOps teams to ensure adherence to high standards throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Guide delivery teams on high-level designs and best practices.
About You

We are looking for an expert in data governance and modelling, with a strong understanding of enterprise data warehouse architecture. You should be adept at using Kimball and Inmon modelling techniques and have experience applying them to create robust design patterns and data models.

You should also be a strong communicator, comfortable working with a diverse group of engineers, and passionate about coaching others to learn and grow. You should thrive in collaborative environments, driving best practices and fostering a world-class data environment.
