Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Residential Coordinator to join our team at Mission Australia.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Robertson, NSW. You will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and supporting residential staff and providing support and guidance to students in the program.

  • Leading, supervising and supporting residential workers in each of the farm's 3 cottages
  • Coordinating the supply of essential goods and services to the residential program
  • Maintaining acceptable standards of student conduct in accordance with the program's established rules
  • Conducting staff performance appraisals and development reviews
  • Monitoring progress towards casework goals and resolving student complaints
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant degree or diploma in Youth Work or Social Sciences, or at least three years experience in adolescent residential care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health and substance misuse issues
  • Ability to lead, support and supervise staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
