Job Title: Residential Coordinator

The Residential Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our residential program for young people.

This dynamic position oversees the development and delivery of quality sporting and recreational activities on weekends, aiming to increase physical fitness, promote teamwork, and foster planning skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee and support residents' progress toward achieving their casework goals.
    • Design and deliver engaging sport and recreation programs both on-site and off-site.
    • Mentor and guide residents in developing essential Living Skills.
    • Conduct thorough client case plan reviews, record keeping, reports, and case notes.
    • Lead, supervise, and support Youth Workers to ensure exceptional care.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in adolescent residential care and/or delivering sports and recreational programs are highly valued.

Candidates must possess excellent leadership and staff management skills, as well as experience in conducting outdoor recreational and physical activities.

A demonstrated understanding of mental health and substance issues is crucial, along with the ability to collaborate with clinicians regarding medication supply and administration.

First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required, as well as evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination and a current NSW driving license.
