Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Adelaide CBD or Melbourne (Sunshine) office.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of payments to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily communication with payroll stakeholders to resolve enquiries
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed correctly
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Analyse and process timesheets for multiple locations
  • Understand taxation of employer paid benefits, Payroll Tax and PAYG
  • Manage new starters and terminations
  • Generate fortnightly and monthly financial reporting
  • Leave Processing/Deductions/Allowances/Bonus/Choice of Super
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, awards, and ability to interpret EBAs
  • Proficiency with SAP
  • Intermediate experience in Excel and ability to generate financial reports
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication
  • High level of professionalism, dealing with sensitive, confidential documents and personal information
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to uphold compliance standards
What We Offer
