Business Growth Specialist

About this role:

This is a key opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our presence across global markets.

As a Business Development specialist, you will strategically acquire new clients by cultivating trust-based relationships with C-level executives to understand their mission-critical priorities and uncover opportunities to deliver client value through the lens of the industry in which they operate.

You will drive the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closure and transition of new accounts to the account management team.

Our teams are relentless about building trust-based, value-add relationships with clients, delivering long-term client value, and building their book of business over time.

While driven for results, they are also highly collaborative with account management teams in handing off business and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Clients have up to $1bil in annual revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Seek out and drive new business opportunities with new-to-organization organizations across your territory, from initial client outreach to close, targeting C-level stakeholders.
  2. Convert viable prospects into active clients, owning the full sales conversation and negotiation, through to the transition of new clients to the account management team.
  3. Align the right combination of insight, guidance, and practical tools to bring value to the partnership.
  4. Continually build a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics, ensuring KPIs are met.
  5. Quota responsibility for your assigned territory.
  6. Manage complex high-revenue sales across matrix and diverse environments.
  7. Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

Requirements:

  1. At least 1 year B2B sales experience, preferably within complex sales environments.
  2. Some business development or "hunting" experience in a selling role is highly desired.
  3. Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.
  4. Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  5. Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sale process.
  6. Willingness to live within a commutable distance to one of our locations.
  7. Bachelor's degree is desired.

Work Environment:

We have a hybrid work environment, which means working virtually and in the office when necessary.

Our sales teams collaborate together regularly, both in-person and virtually.

Each region defines its own experiences, but some examples include 1:1s with your manager, team meetings, recognition, and upskilling sessions that are better done in person.
