About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing the regional business plan, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving fundraising efforts for Brookfield's private funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the regional business plan, aligning with global strategies and objectives
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including client relationship managers, diligence management, marketing, and investor relations
  • Drive fundraising efforts, working closely with the global fundraise management team to customize and implement the fundraise strategy in the Asia Pacific region
  • Proactively monitor and adapt the strategy as circumstances change, facilitating key decisions throughout the fundraising process
  • Lead the APAC Fundraise Management team, coaching and mentoring new team members, and collaborating with stakeholders for the development and retention of junior team members
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in finance, business management, or a relevant discipline
  • 12+ years of experience in fundraising for private fund strategies, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region
  • Demonstrated understanding of the LP landscape and preferences, styles, and requirements across key regions and investor types
  • Strong strategy/product knowledge and ability to communicate details of fund approach
  • Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities and investment reporting experience
  • Strong global team management experience
  • Experience in high-volume processes and technology-enabled solutions
  • Experience in real estate, infrastructure, and/or private equity asset classes strongly preferred
  • Institutional fund marketing sales and support experience strongly preferred
