Key Role Overview

The Chief Defence Scientist's support role is a critical function within the Defence Science and Technology Group.

This position provides strategic, technical, and administrative assistance to the CDS in preparation for enterprise committee meetings, Senate Estimates, and Private Briefings.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Provide expert strategic, technical, and administrative support to the CDS for enterprise committee meetings.
  • Supervise and assist the officer responsible for coordinating Freedom of Information requests for DSTG.
