About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead a 3-month continuous improvement project for a leading motor manufacturing company. In this role, your expertise will be pivotal in driving efficiency and optimizing warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate, recommend, implement, and review agreed systems, processes, and supply chain procedures consistent with set policies to achieve National Parts and Accessories operations objectives.
  • Provide specialist advice on and assist managers in the development of policies and standards for transport and operations to improve warehousing and logistics performance.
  • Coordinate, implement, and monitor multi-phase project activities to agreed milestones to improve warehousing capacities and logistics performance.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business systems, processes, and controls (including IT) for all warehousing operations to ensure they are in-line with warehousing best practice in performance and output.
  • Implement new initiatives to support operational cost savings and conduct training gap analysis.
  • Coordinate and facilitate forums with key stakeholders to ensure that project plans, progress, and issues are clearly communicated to all stakeholders and minimize warehousing, delivery, transport, and quality issues for the parts and accessories supply chain.
  • Act as a liaison in relation to process issues, warehousing systems, and operations, resolving complex issues and implementing countermeasures to ensure stakeholder buy-in.
Requirements:
  • Over 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience, preferably in a consultancy role or demonstrated success in managing CI, optimization, and other projects in supply chain and logistics.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills with exposure to senior stakeholders.
  • Articulate and strong analytical skills.
  • Autonomous and work in partnership with others.
  • Solutions-driven, expert in supply chain and logistics operations, preferably with exposure to Supply Chain & Logistics Optimization, DC Design, Technology (ERP/WMS/TMS), Automation.
