Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best value for the organization.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecasts, and demand to optimize purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
  • Track and report key metrics to ensure cost efficiency and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or Cert IV
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain procedures and purchasing processes.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
