Job Description:
MTC Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and analytical Procurement Specialist to manage and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement to support the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best value for the organization.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecasts, and demand to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Track and report key metrics to ensure cost efficiency and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or Cert IV
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain procedures and purchasing processes.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
