About the Role

Xylem is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at our Kemps Creek, Sydney location. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for optimizing supply chain operations through demand review, supply coordination, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, product management, and lifecycle services teams to develop informed forecasts.
  • Create and manage purchase orders to intercompany factories and third-party suppliers, both international and domestic.
  • Work with suppliers and freight partners to manage lead times, ensure timely deliveries, and provide accurate delivery dates to the business.
  • Analyse and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations and rebalance inventory across the ANZ network.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to internal teams on supply issues and delivery delays.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance overall supply chain performance.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or certificates in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in demand and supply planning, inventory management, logistics, customer service, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with ERP and MRP systems (e.g. Scala, SAP S/4 HANA).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and interactive tools such as Power BI.
  • Proven experience drawing conclusions from large, complex data sets.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer focus.
  • Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively across all levels within the business.
