Spiritual Support Specialist

As a compassionate and professional pastoral care provider, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality spiritual support for patients and their families in diverse cultural and faith settings.
Key Responsibilities- Implement best practices in critical areas such as emotional support, grief management, and end-of-life care.
- Provide empathetic, sensitive, and skilled pastoral care during times of crisis, transition, and vulnerability.
- Ensure accurate documentation of interventions in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
- Experience in hospital-based pastoral care or a related field.
- Ability to work on a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Capacity to provide compassionate pastoral care in culturally diverse and faith-sensitive environments.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills in high-pressure situations and ongoing relationships.
- Bachelor's degree with qualifications in Spirituality/Theology/Pastoral Care, or willingness to pursue same.
- Evidence of supervised training in providing spiritual care, equivalent to one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.
