Key Finance Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled finance leader to join our APAC Leadership Team in Newcastle, Australia.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading finance functions in complex multinational environments.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience with at least 2 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven ability to partner with global finance leaders and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements across APAC jurisdictions including IFRS.
  • Expertise in treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Act as a key member of the APAC Leadership Team contributing to both strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team across APAC building capability and supporting succession planning.
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting ensuring compliance with regional regulations.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems automation and process improvements.
  • Develop and monitor finance policies and reporting frameworks ensuring timely and accurate information is delivered to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of cross-border finance operations and global business practices.
  • Ability to travel as required including internationally.
  • Industry experience in travel hospitality or services will be highly regarded.
