About the Opportunity
We are seeking a finance leader to join our global organization in a pivotal role that combines strategic insight with operational excellence. The Director of Finance will be responsible for the accounting, treasury management, budgeting, relevant projects, financial compliance and yearly financial statements for our operating entities in the APAC region.About the Role
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer and play a key role in the APAC Leadership Team. This is a leadership position that requires a high-performing regional team.Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to both strategic and operational decision-making as a key member of the APAC Leadership Team.
  • Partner with global finance leaders to ensure alignment of processes and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Finance team across APAC, building capability and supporting succession planning.
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regional regulations.
  • Manage audits and liaise with auditors, regulators and tax authorities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems, automation and process improvements.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and financial statements for APAC entities.
  • Develop and monitor finance policies and reporting frameworks, ensuring timely and accurate information is delivered to stakeholders.
  • Provide variance analysis and insights to guide business performance and financial decision-making.
  • Drive risk management and compliance initiatives across the APAC region.
  • Ensure tax and financial compliance across the APAC Region
  • Enhance internal controls, policies and procedures to strengthen financial integrity.
  • Complete any additional projects as directed by the CFO.
