We are in search of a Nurse Unit Manager for the Cath Lab to oversee a dedicated team of 40 healthcare professionals in a permanent full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic oversight for the Cardiac Cath Lab to ensure optimal operational management.
- Coordinate the provision of safe, efficient, and evidence-based nursing care.
- Offer leadership, mentorship, and support to your nursing staff.
- Be responsible for the effective management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of flexible staffing, budgeting, and performance metrics.
- Promote a culture of learning to foster continuous improvement.
- Maintain professional and constructive relationships with our VMO partners, adopting a customer service approach to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional patient and family-centered care within a collaborative team environment.
- Lead and implement clinical audits and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Provide direct patient care as necessary.

About You:
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA.
- Extensive experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Proven leadership and management capabilities.
- Strong communication skills to influence and achieve desired outcomes.
- Deep clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Dedication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant specialty or actively pursuing them.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Leadership and Management (preferred).
