We are in search of a Nurse Unit Manager – Cath Lab to oversee a dedicated team of 40 staff members in a Permanent Full Time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering operational leadership for the Cardiac Cath Lab to guarantee effective and efficient management.
- Coordinating the provision of safe, efficient, and evidence-based nursing care.
- Offering leadership, mentorship, and support to your nursing team.
- Being responsible for the proficient management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Possessing a comprehensive understanding of flexible scheduling, budgeting, and key performance indicators.
- Promoting a culture of learning to ensure ongoing improvement.
- Maintaining professional and constructive relationships with our VMO partners, adopting a customer service approach to facilitate high-quality patient outcomes.
- Ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient and family-centered care within a collaborative team environment.
- Driving clinical audits and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Providing direct patient care as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA.
- Extensive experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Proven leadership and management experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Dedication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty or actively pursuing one.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Leadership and Management (preferred).
