We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our Cath labs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide safe, efficient, and effective evidenced-based nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Supervise, direct, guide, and mentor nursing team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Facilitate a learning culture to promote continuous quality improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Deliver education and support to patients and their families to promote health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care.
Requirements:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
- 6-12 months of nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Experience with angiography procedures.
- Ability to establish professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to achieve results.
- Commitment to enabling a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to meet on-call requirements on short notice.
