We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Gold Coast Private Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence in our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and Provide Patient Care: Ensure safe, efficient, and effective evidenced-based nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
- Lead and Mentor Nursing Team: Supervise, direct, guide, and mentor nursing team members to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Facilitate Quality Improvement: Collaborate with medical professionals to drive continuous quality improvement and ensure beneficial outcomes for patients.
- Coordinate Clinical Audits: Develop and implement clinical audits to evaluate and improve patient care processes.
- Deliver Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care.
- Nursing Registration: Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
- Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab: 6-12 months of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Angiography Experience: Experience with angiography procedures.
- Communication Skills: Ability to establish professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- On-Call Requirements: Ability to meet on-call requirements on short notice.
