Technical Implementation Specialist

This role is a customer-facing technical implementation specialist responsible for providing software implementation services in web-based products. The successful candidate will work with high-profile organizations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will have experience in web development technologies, specifically Bootstrap versions 3 and 4, jQuery, RESTful services, APIs, SQL Server, and technical business analysis skills. Material design experience and prior experience in emergency management are also preferred.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Configure web-based products to meet client requirements for emergency/incident response.
  • Design, utilize, and improve emergency/incident management processes.
  • Create written requirements documents detailing system configuration required to meet client needs.
  • Provide technical assistance to stakeholders in support and delivery of emergency/incident management programs.
  • Develop and implement techniques and procedures for process reviews, including online training content and exercise assessments.
  • Offer Tier 2 support for clients in the region.
  • Identify and implement staff development opportunities related to emergency preparedness and response.
  • Support Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) activations when required.
  • Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in web development.
  • Experience with Bootstrap versions 3 and 4.
  • Experience with jQuery.
  • Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Technical Business Analysis skills.
  • Material Design experience preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in an emergency management environment preferred but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience implementing software and working directly with clients.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Superior ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to travel if required.
  • New Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent work rights in New Zealand.
