Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Implementation Specialist to provide high-quality implementation services in WebEOC and associated solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Configure web-based products within the WebEOC framework to meet client requirements for emergency/incident response.
  • Design, utilise and improve emergency/incident management processes.
  • Create detailed system configuration documents to meet client needs for Emergency/Incident Response processes.
  • Provide technical assistance to stakeholders in the support and delivery of emergency/incident management specific programs.
  • Contribute information to systems for tracking progress and documenting status of activities.
  • Develop and implement techniques and procedures for process reviews, including online training content and exercise assessments.
  • Tier 2 support for clients in the region.
  • Identify and implement staff development opportunities related to emergency preparedness and response.
  • Support Emergency Operations Centre activations when required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in web development.
  • An excellent understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Bootstrap versions 3 and 4.
  • Experience with jQuery.
  • Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Technical Business Analysis skills.
  • Material Design experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in an emergency management environment is preferred but not essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience implementing software and working directly with clients.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines.
  • The ability and willingness to travel if required.
  • New Zealand or Australian citizenship or permanent work rights in New Zealand.
