Claims Manager

The Claims Executive plays a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of strata and homeowner claims. This hybrid position requires in-office work, overseeing the entire claims process from initial assessment to settlement.
This includes identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity, collaborating with clients and insurers, and negotiating favorable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage claims, identify potential risks, and escalate for internal review and investigation.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients, repairers, assessors, and insurers.
- Provide information and feedback on claims and trends to underwriters and risk assessors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant requirements, statutory guidelines, and standards.
- Interpret and make decisions on policy terms, conditions, and exclusions.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in insurance, preferably in the Australian market.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Broad knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
