Claims Management Role

This is a critical position in the delivery of claims services to clients. You will manage a portfolio of general insurance claims, focusing on liability claims for Local Government clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • End-to-end management of a mixed portfolio of Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Property claims;
  • Conduct thorough reserves, investigations, cost management, and negotiations with third parties;
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients;
  • Foster connections with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, and reinsurers.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in end-to-end claims management;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • A customer-centric approach;
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances when required;
  • Australia-based operation.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in managing Public Liability/Casualty claims;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Law, Business/Commerce, Loss Adjusting or ANZIIF studies;
  • Previous client-facing experience.
