This is a pivotal opportunity for an accomplished Automation Solutions Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Solutions Engineer to partner with our sales team to design, program, and deliver motion control, robotics, and automation solutions that drive productivity and efficiency.

As an Automation Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with customers to understand their needs and developing customized automation solutions that meet their requirements.

You will work closely with our sales team to design and program automation solutions, conduct product demonstrations and training, and provide technical support to customers.

Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors to size and select components for optimal performance and document projects to create technical resources for future use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and program automation solutions using PLCs, motion control, and robotics.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training, and technical presentations to customers.
  • Collaborate with vendors to size and select components for optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with controls engineering from concept to commissioning.
  • Strong PLC programming skills, ideally with Bosch Rexroth and Codesys.
  • Knowledge of motion control, robotics, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and priorities.
