Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring an effective health, safety and environmental culture across our Western Australia operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health, safety and environmental management system that aligns with industry best practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on health, safety and environmental matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with work activities.
  • Investigate incidents and develop root cause analysis reports to inform process improvements.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills in health, safety and environmental practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior health, safety and environmental advisory role within the construction or engineering maintenance sector.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
