Safety, Health and Environmental Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SHEQ professional to join our team. As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental sustainability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and implementing effective Safety Management Plans across projects
- Providing support for Environment and Quality functions
- Investigating safety-related incidents or issues and providing recommendations through leadership teams
- Implementing processes to ensure compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures
- Maintaining risk assessments and risk registers, and managing records according to Company requirements
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:
- Proven success in a similar role with a strong track record of delivering results
- A tertiary qualification in Workplace/Occupation Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene and Health, Environmental or Quality equivalent
- Formal training in incident investigation with excellent analytical skills
- Sound communication skills, including high literacy and numeracy levels, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Operational experience in high-risk environments with a proven ability to manage complex situations
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships and foster a positive team culture
