Job Title:

HSE Specialist Role

Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient stewardship of business unit execution of the Contractor Operational Excellence Management (COEM) process. It involves conducting business partner field engagements and working with Asset Optimization Project Managers and HSE Specialists to deliver critical projects safely.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining health, safety, and environmental support, including incident investigation and reporting, risk management, and managing safe work and human performance.
  • Implementing and ensuring compliance with the Australia Products Health, Safety, and Environment Management System.
  • Maintaining emergency response readiness and compliance with dangerous goods regulations.
  • Reviewing contractor emergency response plans and verifying their capability to mitigate emergency events.
  • Developing and maintaining a working relationship with regulatory bodies.
  • Coaching, training, and induction of Business Partners on health, safety, and environment matters.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in human and organisational performance, minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
